A groundbreaking news is coming on 12th May. Astronomers at European Southern Observatory are about to announce something "groundbreaking" in the Milky Way. The results will be released in a press conference by The Event Horizon Telescope project. The Event Horizon Telescope is an international collaboration capturing images of black holes using radio telescopes around the world. In 2019, it made history by releasing the first ever image of a Supermassive Black Hole located at the heart of galaxy M87 and has a mass 6.5 billion times that of our Sun.
