UGC 2885 is one of the largest spiral galaxies known to exist in the Universe.It spans is more than twice the diameter of Milky way and contains 10 times as many stars.What surprises astronomers about this galaxy is its size. Usually galaxies grows that big by eating other galaxies in the collision. But this galaxy does not shows any signs of a major collision with abother galaxy. UGC 2885 is located around 232 million light years in the constellation Perseus.
